BUNA (10/9), the most complete sports center owned by Universitas Brawijaya, UB Sport Center, is re-opened starting on September 9, 2021. After being fully closed during PPKM, one of the business units under the management of BUNA is started operating after Malang was in the PPKM level 3 area. Even though it was closed during PPKM level 4, UB Sport Center is still trying to establish engagement with visitors via social media. In addition, the equipment used is also routinely cleaned with disinfectants.
According to the Marketing and Service Manager of UB Sport Center, M. Rijalludin, the enthusiasm of visitors in waiting for the reopening of UB Sport Center is very high. "Many send DM (direct message) and WA to us and ask when it will be open again. From the management side, they are waiting for the moment to return to operation again. But for the good of all of us, we must also comply with the applicable rules,” he explained by telephone.
Even though it has been opened, Rijalludin said that visitors must follow several conditions issued by UB Sport Center. A number of terms and conditions for visitors who will use the UB Sport Center facilities in good health, passing through temperature screening, , maximum exercise for 2 hours, have received the vaccine, and so on. In the future, the management of UB Sport Center hopes that the COVID-19 pandemic will end soon so that the operations of UB Sport Center and other sectors will also return to normal. Rijalludin added, "We hope that both visitors and all of us always obey the health protocols to break the chain of spread. Loyal visitors to UB Sport Center also don't have to worry about the hygiene of our services because all of our tools are disinfected every day and the room capacity is only 50 percent.”
