Malang, BUNA – (24/6) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) received a visit from prestigious universities, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) and Sriwijaya University (UNSRI). The visit was opened by the Rector of UB, Prof. Dr. Nuhfil Hanani, AR., MS. This event is held in the 8th-floor courtroom of UB's rectorate building. IPB, represented by the Vice-Chancellor for Innovation, Business, and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Dr. Erika Budiarti Laconi, MS, and the team and UNSRI was represented by the Vice-Chancellor I, Prof. Ir. Zainuddin Nawawi, Ph.D. and his team. The purpose of this visit is to find out the strategy for managing business entities within the Public Service Agency (BLU).
The event started with presentations from representatives of each business entity under the Business Management Agency (BPU), which was initiated by the Business Management Agency, Dr.Ir. Adam Wiryawan, MS, Academic Business Entity, Dr. Herman Suryokumoro, SH., MS., Non-Academic Business Entities, Dr. Anthon Efani., Health Business Entity, Welmin Soenyi Ariningsih, M.Lib, and Expertise Business Entity, Prof. Dr. Ir. Woro Busono, MS.
Followed by a question and answer session, this visit also invites guests to visit the business units owned by UB. Such as visits to the BUNA business unit, UB Coffee, UB Guest House, Creative Land Canteen, and Griya Brawijaya. According to one team from USNRI said that land use in UB is very efficient. On approximately 50 hectares, UB can be used as a location for studying, along with other facilities such as cafes (UB Coffee), lodging (UB Guest House and Griya Brawijaya), and so on. With this visit, UNSRI and IPB could better understand the management of higher education facilities and business units in the area of the Public Service Agency.
